Theme: “Beacons of Hope: Living the Charism through Three Centuries"
1. Objectives
To promote deeper reflection on the significance of the 1726 Constitutions.
To celebrate the charism of Mother Ignacia as a source of hope and mission.
To express through poetry the enduring relevance of the Rules in today’s world.
2. Who May Join
Open to all members of the Ignacian family: sisters, lay partners, students, alumni, and collaborators.
Entries may be submitted in two age categories:
o Youth (ages 15–25)
o Adult (ages 26 and above)
3. Language and Form
Poems may be written in English or Filipino.
Accepted forms:
o Free verse
o Structured forms (e.g., sonnet, haiku, tanaga, etc.)
o Spoken word (may be submitted in written form only)
Maximum of 30 lines, including title and stanza breaks.
4. Content Guidelines
Poems must creatively reflect the contest theme and may explore:
o The legacy of the 1726 Rules
o The life and spirituality of Mother Ignacia
o The mission and charism as lived today
o Hope, service, and faith across three centuries
Entries must be original and not previously published or submitted to other contests.
4. Submission Guidelines
Submit entries via email or online form (link to be provided by organizers).
Each entry must include:
o Title of the poem
o Full name of the author
o Age category
o Affiliation (school, community, institution, etc.)
File format: .doc, .docx, or .pdf
