SONG WRITING CONTEST

Theme:  “Faithfully Lived Before Written: The Legacy of Mother Ignacia’s Way”

1. Eligibility

•  Open to all members of the Congregation, lay mission partners, alumni of our institutions, and youth members/students involved in our ministries.

• Entries may be individual or collaborative (maximum of 3 members per team).

2. Song Requirements

• Original composition in English, Filipino, or any language (with English translation).

• Duration: 3–5 minutes.

• Should express the core values, spirit, and legacy of Mother Ignacia in the 1726 Rules and its relevance today.

• Lyrics must be aligned with the congregation's spirituality and charism.

3. Submission Requirements

• Lyrics in .doc or .pdf format.

• Audio recording (MP3 or MP4); live or digital instruments are accepted.

• Optional: a video performance.

• Brief explanation (100–150 words) of the song’s message and inspiration.

4. Criteria for Judging

• Originality and Creativity 30%                   

• Relevance to Theme 30%

• Musicality and Harmony 20%

• Clarity of Lyrics and Message 20%

5. Deadline and Submission

• Deadline for submission: January 31, 2026 (to be sung on July 1, 2026)
